Troubleshooting

When something looks wrong, start by checking the selected data set before changing values.

  • Confirm the selected institution, linear accelerator, and data set in the header.
  • Click the breadcrumbs in the page header to reopen the selector.
  • Use the data set type/source filter if the expected data set is hidden in a long list.
  • Check whether you have write access if create, rename, copy, delete, or import actions are missing.
  • Data set names must be unique under the same linear accelerator.
  • If the page restores an old selection, open the picker and choose the intended data set again.
  • Confirm that all required files were selected.
  • Check that the selected data set is the intended import destination.
  • Compare detected energy, scan type, field size, depth, wedge, and mode against the original acquisition software.
  • If Quadrant identifies the file type incorrectly, verify that the file was exported in a supported format.
  • If duplicates are reported, review them before accepting the import.

Quadrant may mark scans as unavailable when they cannot be processed. Select the scan and review the details panel for the reason.

  • Confirm the selected data set before exporting.
  • Confirm whether you used table export, data set export, or Databook export.
  • Check that the output format matches the receiving system.
  • If a Databook or Sun Nuclear export asks for an electron reference field, confirm that the selected field is appropriate.
  • If exported data has fewer or more points than expected, review whether photon or electron resampling was enabled.
  • Confirm that the same scans appear in Data > Scans.
  • Resolve unavailable scans before relying on the Databook summary.
  • Check whether the expected electron reference field is available in the data set.
